Kits for Kids in Mrs. Barbour's class!
"Kits For Kids" was a community service project developed by a group of third graders in
Mrs. Barbour's class. Inspired by Haley's mom who works for DCYF, Haley and her committee came up with the idea to stuff backpacks with goodies for kids who have nothing to call their own. Through the generosity of the teachers, students, and parents in our school community, they were able to stuff 37 backpacks with toothbrushes, crayons, coloring books, story books,
stuffed animals, and new soft blankets to cuddle up with at night!
What a great example of being productive citizens!
